Halo stories
For pups who need serious wrangling.
Replaces your dated dog fence, GPS collar, activity tracker and training collar with one product.
Our mini Aussie roams our few acre lot freely — she occasionally gets feedback in the form of beeps or vibration which has worked 100% of the time.
The Halo Collars have given my dogs the freedom to go outside and be safe without me watching every step. I no longer have to worry that the dogs will bother the neighbors.
Dingo tests the perimeter like a velociraptor in Jurassic park but total success at keeping him in the boundary of our yard!
Our high energy snow loving rescue pup can now roam our 10 acres without us worrying. My only regret is not getting it sooner!
We have given Rip access to around 200 acres and the collar works beautifully.
Many homeowners in our town have dogs walking over their actual fence (due to heavy snowfall and tall snow drifts) and running away while our dog remains in the yard.
FAQs
View all FAQsI don’t have a yard of my own, or I live in an apartment, rental home, condo or town home. Can I still use the Halo System?
Of course! One amazing part of Halo is the portability and freedom it provides. You can set up Halo Fences instantly in any location: at a rental property, around your apartment building, at a family member or friend's house, the park, the beach—the opportunities are endless! In addition, Halo Beacons can be used anywhere inside to provide indoor support, and your Cesar Millan training will teach you how to be the best pet parent possible.
Will Halo work for my dog’s breed?
Yes! Today over 350 breeds are currently using Halo Collar. Halo is a proven system that works on any breed and any age, as long as they are over 5 months old and over 20 lbs. It doesn’t matter if your dog’s breed is stubborn, energetic, playful, or calm, or if they chase squirrels, like to swim or frequently visit your neighbors. Once you train your dog on Halo, it will work on any breed.
Will Halo work when I am out of cellular or Wi-Fi coverage (i.e. while camping or hiking in a remote location)?
If you intend to go to a zero-coverage area, you can set up your Halo Fences before you leave, and it will work seamlessly. Halo Fences are stored in the collar's memory and won't be lost even if/when it loses power or an internet connection.
Does Halo work indoors?
Yes! Indoors, the Halo Collar can prevent dogs from entering unwanted or unsafe areas. To do so, set up Bluetooth-based Keep Away Beacons that trigger fence-like alerts when your dog comes near them.
Is there a limit to the number, location, or size of Halo Fences I can create?
You can create and save up to 20 unique fences in your Halo app, and they can be created anywhere in the world. If you intend to go to a zero-coverage area, you can set up your Halo Fences before you leave, and it will work seamlessly. You can edit any fence, at any time (just be sure to practice this new boundary with your dog!). Each fence needs to include a minimum of 250 square feet for your dog to roam safely, and can accommodate a maximum of over one thousand square miles.
