Background
For more than 25 years, Cesar Millan has been one of the most recognized and sought-after experts in dog behavior and rehabilitation, helping countless dogs and their pet parents build stronger, more balanced relationships. His work has taken him from hands-on rehabilitation at the Dog Psychology Center in Santa Clarita to television screens in more than 120 countries, bestselling books, and training programs for dog parents and professional trainers around the world. His approach is grounded in a simple but powerful understanding of dog behavior: before you can change a dog's behavior, you have to understand the dog. From there, Cesar's methodology focuses on clear communication, consistent boundaries and limitations, and exercise, discipline, and affection in that order.
Halo was created to bring Cesar's expertise into the everyday lives of dog parents. Through the Halo Collar and its in-app training program, Cesar's natural simple profound approach to understanding dog behavior, establishing boundaries, and building clear communication becomes accessible at home. The technology supports the training, while Cesar's methodology provides the foundation—giving pet parents a practical way to apply the same principles he has taught throughout his career in their everyday lives with their dogs.
Cesar's work is far from finished. He continues to work hands-on with dogs and their dog parents at the Dog Psychology Center while teaching his approach to new generations of dog parents and professional trainers. He also continues to share his work publicly through his YouTube channel, @CesarMillanOfficial, and his series including Better Human Better Dog, Walking with Cesar, and Life at the Ranch, giving dog parents an ongoing look at his training philosophy in action.
"My mission is to train humans, rehabilitate dogs, and improve the trust, respect, and love between humans and dogs everywhere." — Cesar Millan
